Past mistakes

by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote

— To feel the power of this text, place yourself in the “I” 🙂 —

I’m not doomed to remake my mistakes. I can learn and do better. I have the power to change my present as I’m using my past mistakes.

I can do better.

I can’t change the past. It’s over for that. But I have the power on the present.

I get up and I move on.

I face my reality now and I move on.

I’m not defined by the past. I’m defined by my present action.

I stay away from the people who can’t face the fact that they can’t change the past.

From the inside out

by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote

To feel the power of this text, place yourself in the “I” 🙂

It’s so easy to blame something outside. It’s so easy to distance ourselves from the result.

I don’t want to ask myself if I could have done something. I don’t want to wonder what could have been.

I know that I can’t change anything that is done. I know that my only power is in the present.

I can change the present! I just need to do something now.

We over estimate the power of others in the reality and underestimate our own power.

We wait for someone else to do it.

We whine about the inactions of others without asking what we could have done.

There’s always something that we could have done. Even if we think it would have not change anything, maybe it would have.

I will stop regretting what I didn’t do and start doing something right now in my reality.

It’s so much easier to point the fingers outside.

Take responsibility for my present

I have to take responsibility for my life.

No matter what happened, I’m in charge of my response. I’m in charge of what I do or do not.

I will stop whining about the past. It’s done, I can’t change the past. I need to move on and do what I want to change the present.

I take responsibility for my present.

I can if I Believe.

I need the power of my belief to push me foward.

The Brand by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote

In the world of Blogging, you are the brand.

Whatever you post, it’s all from you. Even if you repost someone else’s post, it’s your choice, so it’s all from you.

How can we find ways to be interesting while keeping some stuff personal?

First, there’s a need to be true. Truth in what you think and believe is the first thing you need to be as you blog.

Second, you don’t need to impose your belief. What you believe will always come out of your post. If you stay away from being judgmental in your blog, things will be easier for you. **Warning: there’s a lot of people online who are searching for reason to confront. They’re searching for anything that will give them the opportunity to fight. Most of the time, it’s useless to respond to them. They don’t care who’s right or wrong, they only want to confront and fight.

Third, don’t post anything without taking the time to do a second or a third verification. If you take the time to read and adjust your post, you’ll end up with post that are nice to read and set up to present your idea in a clear and simple way.

Fourth, you don’t need to be perfect. Yes, do your best. But the main reason to have a blog is to post. So, if you find yourself stuck in front of a post, the best choice is always to post instead of not posting. And remember, you can still modify your post later if there’s a major error in it.

Fifth, if you are in a high rush of writing. Post something and keep the rest for another day when you don’t feel like writing that much. You should create post that are easy to read in less than 5 minutes. Why? Because our world is about short info. Yes, there’s still a lot of people that are reading long text, but the majority don’t. So, if you want to reach large audience, find a way to mix your long post into short ones.

In the blogging world, you are the brand. People will identify your post to you. They will identify your personality to your post. Don’t expect to hide anything. It will come out.

Be yourself and create some good stuff online. Many people underestimate the effect they have with their post. If you keep on posting good stuff, the right people will find your blog and they’ll be touch.

Great Quote by Golda Meir

There is no good justification for doing anything bad.

What is done, is done. We can’t change what we did. Even if we choose to do nothing, our action has been to do nothing.

The moment you are aware, you have a responsibility into it.
