From the inside out

by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote

To feel the power of this text, place yourself in the “I” 🙂

It’s so easy to blame something outside. It’s so easy to distance ourselves from the result.

I don’t want to ask myself if I could have done something. I don’t want to wonder what could have been.

I know that I can’t change anything that is done. I know that my only power is in the present.

I can change the present! I just need to do something now.

We over estimate the power of others in the reality and underestimate our own power.

We wait for someone else to do it.

We whine about the inactions of others without asking what we could have done.

There’s always something that we could have done. Even if we think it would have not change anything, maybe it would have.

I will stop regretting what I didn’t do and start doing something right now in my reality.

It’s so much easier to point the fingers outside.

About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote Why do I write? I believe in the butterfly effect. As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better. I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” – Edmund Burke I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it. I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place. I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life. I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way. “The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.” – William James

  1. Jesus said to His disciples in Mark 11:23, “Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.”
