Gratitude is a key to unlock happiness in your life.
“I am happy because I’m grateful. I choose to be grateful. That gratitude allows me to be happy.”
– Will Arnett
There are two easy steps in gratitude.
1- Verbalize what you are grateful for.
2- Say “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”
You can also give according to what you got. Give away without expecting to get anything back.
“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”
– William Arthur Ward
You can express your gratitude by saying “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you”.
When you are grateful, you bring powerful energy into your life. That energy will drive you to take action and bring something good into someone else life. It’s a ball that will start to roll and develop into more goods that you can expect to create.
Hard times are hard for everyone.
It’s how you choose to react to those hard times that makes the difference.
“It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.”
You need to choose to look for options. It’s a choice.
Don’t wait for someone else to help you. Analyse, learn and then lay your options on paper.
As you put it on paper, you give them a tangible form. It’s the first step to resolve the hard times you’re in.
Then, choose to take action on one of the options you found.
There’s no guaranty that you will succeed with your action.
But you’ll surely fail if you do nothing.
On the wall of a pub, there’s a sign. “Free Beer Tomorrow”
Tomorrow doesn’t exist. It’s a concept, a way of thinking. The only reality is the ‘NOW’.
“Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.”
– Jim Rohn
You can expect and hope, but if you don’t take action now, it’s only dreaming.
Nothing great has ever been created without actions.
Always do the best you can right now.
“Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen… yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.”
– Bradley Whitford
Action in the ‘NOW’ will not always bring good result. But if you keep going on, you’ll get better and you’ll get better results.
Actions a linked to a need.
Taking action can be hard. Even more when the reason is not good enough.
Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it.
You have the power to overcome your fear.
“A great future doesn’t require a great past.”
– William Chapman
“I am not what has happened to me. I am what I choose to become.”
– Carl Jung
You’re not what you did, you’re what you do right now.
Tenacity: Being tenacious, holding fast, persistence.
Finding good reason to give up will never get you anything good. Giving up can be used to learn and grow. But if you let it become a habit, you’ll end up losing a lot.
“You can’t give up! If you give up, you’re like everybody else.”
– Chris Evert
Be persistent in doing what needs to be done every day. Make a list of the most important one, and start with one at the top.
It doesn’t matter if you do them all every time, as long as you do the most important first.
Most people will over estimate what they can do in one day and under estimate what they can do in a year.
Small step done every day will matter more than one big step done once in a while.
“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.”
You can build something great doing a few small goal every day.
Take action right now.
Result comes from actions.
You will create opportunities as you take actions.
“If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.”
– Milton Berle
Luck comes to you as you are there working on your dream.
If you wait for someone else to build your dream, it will never end.
The causes of your present life are quite large. In there, you have a part in it, even if you think you did nothing. Your choice of doing nothing has influenced the life you are living.
So, instead of living this life, take action to reach for something you really want.
“A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.”
– Colin Powell
