Life now

lifenow

Your life is now.

Do what you can now.

Do your best and create opportunity for your tomorrow.

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.”

Robert Louis Stevenson

Don’t wait for the seeds that you planted yesterday to give you something. When the time will come, you’ll get what you deserve.

Be grateful for what you get each day.

Give some of your harvest to others that would need it. Don’t expect anything from what you have been giving away to help.

What you give away with a true heart will come back to you 3 times.

Big dream

bigdream

Big dream can outlast death.

Building something big to still be there after you’ll be gone.

“The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.”

William James

Do you have a big dream?

If not, maybe you should find one.

Keep it into your capacity. Use your capacity to act into reality and leave a lasting influence.

If you leave something behind, make it a good thing.

It could be pictures, good memories, accomplishment or anything that is linked to you.

You don’t have to be famous to leave something that will be remembered after you are gone.

Take action now and leave something good behind.

Automated choices

automatedchoices

“In order to carry a positive action we must develop here a positive vision.”

Dalai Lama

You have the chance to choose what you think. As long as you take the time to analyse it first.

Our thought are, most of the time, automated. They are created from what we learn from our experience and the knowledge we get from others experience.

An automated thought can be change if you put the time and energy to do so.

Our brain is an electric computer. Connections are made from choices we make and thought we use. The more we use a thought, the better the connection is and the easier it will be to use it.

Your opinions are strong connection. The more you use those connection, the more solid they’ll become. And the more difficult it will be to change them.

Attitude

Reality change according to your perception.

Perception can change according to your attitude.

“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.”

Winston Churchill

Attitude will not change reality, it will change how you perceive and react to it.

Your attitude will change your action. From your action, reality will be influenced.

With your attitude you can change the reality.

Leader first

leaderfirst

Be the associate you want to have.

Before you ask someone else to do something, did it first.

Leaders lead in the first line. They have their hands in the dirt and they test the best way before they ask any associate to do so.

Being a leader is doing what is hard before you ask anyone else to do it.

Too many people think that being a leader is getting someone else to do the job for you.

Change for better

Change is one way to success.

Change yourself to get different result.

“To change what you get you must change who you are.”

Vernon Howard

You success is directly linked to who you are.

Become a better person to get better result.

Your path

yourpath

People will doubt the path they are on even if it’s a sure path.

On a high way between two cities, you don’t need to know much more then how much time it will take.

You enter the high way in a city and you know that you will get to the other city.

Even if the road is simple, there’s people that will doubt and stop many times to verify if they are on the right path to reach the other city. Doing so, they extend the trip and turn it into a difficult one.

Start to believe and take action in the right direction.

Love yourself

loveyourself

How can you love someone else if you can’t love yourself first.

Love without expectation. It will come back to you anyway.

“If you can’t love yourself, how can you love others? If you can’t forgive yourself, how can you forgive others?”

Debasish Mridha

Forgiveness is an act of love.

Long or short post?

longpost

You choose to write as you like.

Think as if you were writing on a note pad after a day’s work. Will you write 10 pages or 1 pages?

I like to post short text. Most of them are more motivating then informative.

I like to write stuff that are hitting like a bang! Stuff that should not take more than 30 seconds to read. And from time to time, I write longue post that are more technique.

I see a lot of people posting long post that are quite boring to read. Put the good stuff in you post and don’t fill it up with boring things. If you have 10 lines of good stuff, then you should post 10 lines.

Build great blog

buildgreatblog

Do you want to start a blog?

If so, do you know where to start? What you should do?

I’m not the first one to talk about this subject and I will not be the last.

Here, I just want to share some great tips on how to start a blog.

The first thing you should know, is your “WHY”.

Why do you want to start a blog? This seems very simple, but it can become very complicated if you start with a lie.

Whatever your reason, it’s all up to you.

Let’s clear something first. If your first reason to write a blog is to “Earn” a living online, then I should tell you something. There’s no guaranty that you’ll earn a living with your blog. Even if you are someone with a lot of creativity, there’s no guaranty that you’ll earn anything with your blog.

Second, let’s clear a little common idea. A lot of the “How to earn with your blog guide” will tell you that you “need” to have your own domain and web site. Me, I’ll tell you that before you invest any money, start to invest time into writing for your blog.

What do I mean with start writing before you get your blog? You need to write your post “off line” first. Most new blogger will start to write on their blog directly online. Bang! If you don’t care much about the quality of your post, it’s OK to do it like that. But if you want to do a good job, then you should take the time to write your post before publishing them online.

“The first draft of anything is shit.”

Ernest Hemingway

A good advice. Write your post with a text editor. Rewrite them again and again until they are as good as you can make them. Then write another one and another one. Don’t start posting them online until you have at least 5 offline post ready.

Those posts will be your buffer. One of the key to have a successful blog is posting regularly. Having a buffer will bring you something to post on the bad days when you just don’t have the inspiration. You can still post even if you didn’t wrote anything on that day.

If you found out that you can’t write those 5 posts, then you found out that you should not start a blog. And if you can find it out before you buy a domain and a web site, you can put that money on something else. Blogging is not for everyone.

Let’s talk about the “On the spot” blog post. There’s very few blogger that can write a post on the spot and publish it as is. Most people that try to do that are publishing stuff that aren’t very good and some could even be seen as a waste of time.

Now, let’s talk about how often you should post. Some people are posting daily and some are posting monthly. To be honest, it’s all up to you. Me, I did posted daily when I started. It was really hard to keep the quality up. In that time, I did post some very bad text. Now, I post every 3 to 5 days. This means less than 10 posts a month.

Earlier, I was talking about the time. This is what you really need to focus on. Because it’s the first things that you need to know. If you can’t spend a lot of time on your blog, then it will influence the quality and the number of post that you will put on it.

Then, you’ll have to choose where you want to have your blog. There’s a lot of free blog host online. You can choose to start with one of them. But, as I told you before, you should keep a backup of everything that you wrote on a physical disk. If the host has a problem and delete your blog, you’ll still have your post and could find another place to set it up again. If you want to earn an income with your blog, you should look at getting your own domain and host.

Another way to earn with your blog, is to use your post to create a book. Even with a free blog, you have the ownership of your post and can use them to make a book.

The last thing I would like to say: “If you write your post with a smile, there’s a good chance that you are a blogger.”
