The ‘Easy way’ Myth

easyway

Idea into action. Consistency into action. Action into success.

Sorry, the easy way is a myth. Success is made up with idea, action and consistency.

“You will never win if you never begin.”

Helen Rowland

Consistent hard work mixed with good idea can create wonders. And if you put consistency on top of that, you end up with the best environment for success.

“There is simply no substitute for hard work when it comes to achieving success.”

Heather Bresch

Hard work will bring you to a good level. Then you’ll have to do even more to become better. And after that, if you keep working hard, you’ll maybe reach the best level.

“The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.”

Vince Lombardi

Hard work without good idea and consistency will never bring you anywhere.

The quest

quest

Warrior business mind

Look at your business as a quest to accomplish. You have to fight your way into making that business work. In some way, it’s like a warrior quest. The fighting is done with computer, but the will is the most important part of your character. Even with the best tool, if you don’t have the will to make it, you won’t make it.

A warrior has to face the problems and put them down. So the quest can go on. Instead of killing the enemy, you kill the competition with your better product, advertising and marketing.

A warrior will get up when he get strike down. He has to stand in front of destiny until he win.

A warrior never give up, he always go on to accomplish the quest.

Not every warrior will be among the best. The best will only be the ones who are doing what needs to be done more often than all others.

“There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed.”

Ray Goforth

There’s no easy way to accomplish the quest.

In you

inyou

We are our worst enemy. Inside of us we’ll find the good and the bad in our life.

When we look outside for the keys to our happiness, we look inside of us.

You have all the wonders inside of you. That you get them or not is all about you.

What you think you deserve, you do.

You can’t lie to yourself. So, if you think you deserve, you really need to believe it.

I can’t give you anything you don’t deserve.

You can’t give away anything that is not deserve. So, when you feel the need to give, do it.

If you feel the need to ask, then do it. You’ll never get what you don’t deserve. That you ask or not, you’ll get it in some way.

Do best

dobest

Do your best.

Compare only to yourself.

Do better than your last time.

“Everyone wants to be a winner, but very few people are ready to do what needs to be done to win.”

Brian Tracy

Winner are not comparing themselves with others. They do their best against themselves and end up being the best in the end.

Your true competition is always yourself.

Want

want

Be conscientious about what you want.

Be serious about your choices.

« If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll end up somewhere else. »

Yogi Berra

If you don’t know what you want, you’ll end up doing what others want.

“If you don’t build your dream, someone will hire you to build theirs.”

Whining

whining

Stop whining.

Things aren’t going to get better with your whining.

“Life isn’t fair. It’s true, and you still have to deal with it. Whining about it rarely levels the playing field, but learning to rise above it is the ultimate reward.”

Harvey Mackay

Ok, things can get tough and we sometimes need to ventilate. But don’t stay on that level, rise up and find the will to keep going on.

Nothing great comes instantly, there’s a lot of work under it. And most of the time there’s also a lot of bad things happening before the success.

Whiner are not invited in the success club.

Leader leading team

leaderleading

A good word…

People want to know they’re doing well. What ever you find that is good, say so. And even better would be to do it publicly.

“No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself or get all the credit for doing it.”

 – Andrew Carnegie

Pick the leader among those who choose to follow you. Offer them the chance to take some leadership among the team. When you offer, it’s the first test you get them to take. If they take it, then maybe they have what is needed to become a leader in your team and if they don’t then maybe they still have some work to be done on them.

Do what needs to be done. But always offer your team to do some of it first. The more you’ll give them the opportunity to do, the more they’ll take from your shoulder. Support what is done and celebrate every success they’ll get.

“Leaders must be close enough to relate to others, but far enough ahead to motivate them.”

 – John C. Maxwell

You don’t have to always be the top, but you need to be among the top. Leaders have to do what needs to be done if they want their team to do the same.

Motivating by example is the most powerful way to do it.

“Leadership is practiced not so much in words as in attitude and in actions.”

 – Harold S. Geneen

Your attitude will become the attitude of your team. Your action will become the action of your team. Don’t expect something different.

“People buy into the leader before they buy into the vision.”

 – John C. Maxwell

A leader without a vision will not go far and will not get a lot of people to follow. The vision will drive the leader before it can drive the team.

Your chains

yourchains

Break the chains stopping your from success.

You have the power to break those chains because they have been put there by you. No one else can do it for you.

“We have been conditioned to kid with ourselves, to lie to ourselves and to not really take an honest look at the results we’re getting.”

Bob Proctor

Be honest, are you doing all you can to reach your dream?

Are you taking an honest look at your result? Are you doing your best to learn from them and do better?

Success is all about progress.

Respect

respect

Before you can get the respect of others, you need to respect yourself first.

“Respect yourself if you would have others respect you.”

Baltasar Gracian

Always respect others even if they don’t respect you. In the end it will always come back.

You can’t ask for respect, you’ll get it or not. It’s not up to you. You need to do whatever you feel is right and the respect will come from your action.

Stop worrying about the respect that others have or not for your work.

Respect will come from your actions. If you don’t act, you can’t get the respect from others that you want.

When you take action, you don’t know if it will have the effect you want. But if you do it with respect for yourself, you’ll at least have the good feeling for having done it.

Enough

enough

Against all odds, dreams can come true if you want them bad enough. It’s all about how bad you really want it.

Quitting is easy when your dream isn’t that important to you. The closer they are, the more you’ll lose if you quit on them.

If you want to succeed, you need to have a dream that has a lot of meaning to you. Make it as personal as you can.

“Sometimes things become possible if we want them bad enough.”

T.S. Eliot

Don’t dream someone else’s dream.

Whatever your dream may be, it has to be the best for you.
