Is there a bad day to post?

 

This is an interesting question.

 

Myself, I think that it doesn’t matter. A good post is a good post. It will have an impact every day of the week.

 

I like to post on every Monday. It feels great to start a new week with a new post.

 

For the past 25 days, I posted every day. Here on “From mage mind” and on other blogs around the web.

 

Some are saying that Monday and Tuesday are the best day to post on your blog. In reality, a lot of people will read your post a week after you put it there. If your title is great and your post interesting, then people will read them as they see them.

 

The best readers are the ones who are following you. They will not read your post as you put them online, but most of them will come back later to take a look.

 

What do you think about that? Do you keep data on when you get the most response to your post?

If you don’t like Monday because of your job, then it’s the Mondays the problem. You need to adjust your priority and find something that will get you up with a smile every Monday!

The ‘Easy way’ Myth

Consistent hard work mixed with good idea can create wonders. And if you put consistency on top of that, you end up with the best environment for success.

Hard work will bring you to a good level. Then you’ll have to do even more to become better. And after that, if you keep working hard, you’ll maybe reach the best level.

Hard work without good idea and consistency will never bring you anywhere.

A lot of blogger are posting daily. Some even post more than once a day.

 

Should you post daily?

 

Let’s talk about this.

  • What is the main subject of your blog? If your blog is about something that can change daily, you could post daily. As an example: sport blog, Stardom blog, politic blog, shopping blog and so on. But if your blog is more about personal growth than you could limit your post to a few times a week. Remember that content is king. If you don’t have anything to post, don’t post.
  • How many people do you have visiting your blog? If you start your blog, you should take the time to choose your subject and then start to post according to that subject. Its way better to post once a week a very good post then to post 7 ones that are bad. The more people you have on your blog, the more you’ll feel the pressure to post daily.
  • Do you have a lot of bad days? A bad day is a day where you just can’t find the energy to create a new post. If you have a lot of bad days, than you should write as much as you can during your good ones and put the extra post on the side for the bad days. Doing so will help you keep a steady 3 to 4 post per week. It is very hard to post good stuff daily.
  • If you don’t see how you could post 3 times a week, than you should not stress about posting daily.

 

Posting daily is for the expert. If you don’t have the experience to do so, then you should start with 3 post per week.

 

It could be a goal for you to find the energy and inspiration to post daily.

The quest

Warrior business mind

 

Look at your business as a quest to accomplish. You have to fight your way into making that business work. In some way, it’s like a warrior quest. The fighting is done with computer, but the will is the most important part of your character. Even with the best tool, if you don’t have the will to make it, you won’t make it.

 

A warrior has to face the problems and put them down. So the quest can go on. Instead of killing the enemy, you kill the competition with your better product, advertising and marketing.

 

A warrior will get up when he get strike down. He has to stand in front of destiny until he win.

 

A warrior never give up, he always go on to accomplish the quest.

 

Not every warrior will be among the best. The best will only be the ones who are doing what needs to be done more often than all others.

There’s no easy way to accomplish the quest.

Nothing to lose

Beware of people that have nothing to lose when they give you an advice. If you take those advice without asking yourself if they are good or not, then you can find yourself in trouble.

When the advice will not put them in peril, they will give you the first things that come up on their mind. With average source, you will never get more than average results.

 

People that have some kind of interest in your success, they will take the time to think about their advice to you. They have something to lose if you fail.

 

You can still find some really good people that will give you the best advice without any way of getting anything back from your success, but those people are sadly hard to find.

 

In the end, you are in charge of your success. Good or bad advice will not be the only factor.

Ok, things can get tough and we sometimes need to ventilate. But don’t stay on that level, rise up and find the will to keep going on.

 

Nothing great comes instantly, there’s a lot of work under it. And most of the time there’s also a lot of bad things happening before the success.

 

Whiner are not invited in the success club.
