About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote Why do I write? I believe in the butterfly effect. As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better. I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” – Edmund Burke I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it. I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place. I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life. I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way. “The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.” – William James

  1. Before we are born we do not get to pick who we want our parents to be. We do not get to choose what kind of life we want to have. We do not get to make any decisions for ourselves, such as where we will live, go to school, or who our friends will be. When we are born, we are taken care of and nurtured until we are old enough to take care of ourselves, then we can start to make our own decisions in life whether they be good or bad. Life is a mystery just like playing cards. We are dealt the hand we have. We do not know what is on them until we turn them over, but whatever hand we have, we play it until the end just like life. We all have a beginning, and we all have an ending, but it is what we do in our life until we make it to the end. We all play the hand of life we are dealt. We get through the good and the bad days of it, but we live to fight another day that we call life.
