What is the secret to writing?
It’s quite simple.
It’s writing.
Yes, if you want to be a good writer, you need to write and write. You can learn on and on about how to write, but until you really do it, you are just a wanna be.
The best way is to do and learn as you go along actually writing.
You’ll become better and better if you have the open mind to learn. Find some way to test your writing on different peoples so you can learn what works and what don’t.
One of the way to learn is to read a lot of books in the style that you want to use.
You can use different style and mix them as you see fit. It’s all about you feeling good about your work. Then, you test it again and again. Have an open mind to the comment. Find what bring those comments and modify your text so it will become more appreciated.
Instead of reading a lot of books on how to write, read lots of books in the style that you want to use. Then write and write.
There’s no shortcut to become a great writer. You’ll have to write a lot before you get the chance to get publish.
Keep working on and keep submitting your work.
The Lord God said in Hebrews 8:8-12, “The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord. This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord.’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
