About Writing by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote
I’m doing this blog writing everyday, is this making me a writer?
I’m taking action everyday and do something that I hope will bring some good in this reality.
I’m far from being perfect. I know that a lot of people don’t agree with what I’m writing. I don’t write for those who don’t like, but for those who will start to think about what I wrote. Nothing more. If I could only make you think for a second about what I wrote, then I would have reach my first goal.
Writing is an action that is close to talking. When you write something it’s as powerful as if you said those words.
About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote
Why do I write?
I believe in the butterfly effect.
As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better.
I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world.
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
– Edmund Burke
I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it.
I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place.
I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life.
I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way.
“The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.”
– William James

I want my writing to ease so much pain both past and present. I hope that I can reach these peaks, but I’m okay to die trying.
Jude (possibly another half brother of Jesus) wrote in his letter (verses 3 and 4): “Beloved (fellow Christians), while I was making every effort to write to you about our common salvation (in Jesus), I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints. For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”
I sit down to write on a subject and get drawn into words I never imaged I owned let alone organized. No matter being a writer or not. I am a human being who writes. Words are written thoughts shared with the world.
Writing is a challenging channel of expressing experience. Look forward to more of your discipline. Thank you for liking my post at GenuineRecovery.Art✍🏼Martin
Thanks for visiting Rosie B. Designs! I have another blog that I have been writing on since 2009 (From Roses to Rainbows) and for a while it did okay, but now I write there occasionally, though every time I post, I say I will get back into it. I find that readers make for greater motivation. There a quote that I used several times over the years and it is this: “Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self.” Cyril Connolly
Best of luck in your writing.

You are a writer by virtue of writing. Well done! Keep it going.
