Obsession by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote
To feel the power of this text, place yourself in the “I” 🙂
I know that behind my fear is the wonder that I dream to get.
I have to face my fear to reach for my dream.
I have the determination to do it!
I will say less and do more!
I will move on!
I know that I can do it!
Obsessiveness seams bad when it’s not related with bringing something great into reality! It’s sad that most people can’t see what will come out of the action of others. Most will see obsessiveness as something wrong because they can’t see the good it will bring in the end.
I know that obsessiveness is not always good, because of the goal that has been set behind it.
About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote
Why do I write?
I believe in the butterfly effect.
As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better.
I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world.
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
– Edmund Burke
I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it.
I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place.
I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life.
I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way.
“The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.”
– William James

The apostle Paul wrote in Colossians 3:15-17, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body and be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”
As I read the article and watched the video I now have a different view on the word ‘obsessed”. When you want something so bad nothing is wrong with giving it your all; putting all of your energy into it to accomplish your goal. God wants us to have goals and to live our lives happy. As long as we keep Him first there is nothing that we cannot do, because with Him we can accomplish everything, but without Him we can do nothing. We are to finish the race that God has set before us to run, but we must do it wholeheartedly and nothing wavering. We will reach the finish line if we do not give up and faint along the way. The good thing about it is we never run the race alone. He is there to run the race with us to pick us up when we fall. He will lead and guide us all of the way home.
