The Risk by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote

There’s no way to predict if you will succeed or not.

There’s always a risk in any action you take.

“The biggest risk is not taking any risk… In a world that changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.”

Mark Zuckerberg

If you fear that you will not succeed, you’ll never take any action. If you don’t take any action, you are sure to never succeed.

Choose to follow your dream. Choose a dream so big that the idea of giving up on it is bigger than the risk of taking action on it.

“Any goal worth achieving involves an element of risk.”

Dean Karnazes

Take risk that are in relation with your dream.

Take action on your dream. Respect the risk and do your best.

When things don’t work as you planned, learn as much as you can and keep taking action on your dream.

Do you have a dream? Are you willing to take risk to achieve it?

Fear taking control

Fear will keep you away from your dream.

Fear will always bring you down.

You have to learn to see when there’s a good fear and when that fear is just preventing you from taking action on your dream.

When your fear is linked to saving your life, it’s good. But when fear is linked to your ego, then it’s wrong. People will always bitch about what you do or don’t. So, do what is needed to reach your dream.

Fail before Success

We all fail. If you’re not failing right now, it’s because you are not trying anything.

Take action into your dream.

Don’t let anybody derail you into believing that your failing is the end. Those are just bump on the road. Repair what is broken and keep going on. Do your best to move around the next bump.

Action

When we fear to take actions, we too often use the excuse of not knowing what to do.

Actions will generate responses. All you have to do is to adjust according to your plan and keep going on.

« Trust yourself, you know more than you think you do. »

– Benjamin Spock

If you don’t take action, you can’t get any responses and you can’t adjust. Without action, you don’t go anywhere.

Yes, you’ll make mistakes. Yes, you’ll take some wrong actions. But in the end, with your adjustment, you’ll get what you want (or something very close to it).
