Against all odds, dreams can come true if you want them bad enough. It’s all about how bad you really want it.
Quitting is easy when your dream isn’t that important to you. The closer they are, the more you’ll lose if you quit on them.
If you want to succeed, you need to have a dream that has a lot of meaning to you. Make it as personal as you can.
“Sometimes things become possible if we want them bad enough.”
– T.S. Eliot
Don’t dream someone else’s dream.
Whatever your dream may be, it has to be the best for you.
Nothing great is ever done without starting from a dream.
The dream is the WHY.
Without the WHY, you will quit as soon as you’ll face a challenge.
A dream without action will never get you anywhere.
Your dream have to fill you up with energy and the drive to go on. The dream has to make you move and keep going on.
Some people only dream. They don’t take action. They wonder why they don’t get anything out of their dreams. The dream is only the first step. It’s not a result.
Some people have been beat up so much that they just can’t dream anymore. They don’t believe in hope. They think they are victims. Victims of the dreams of others.
Don’t play the victim game. You’ll never get anything good from a victim mind.
Whatever someone else have, you can have it too. And without taking it from them.
“You can be the moon and still be jealous of the stars.”
– Gary Allan
Don’t envy! Be happy for what others have. Knowing you can have it too.
Joy to the successful people. Successful people will celebrate the success of others. When you are into the flow of energy associated with success, you understand that it’s available to all. Competition is a product of the unsuccessful people.
If you take from someone else, you’ll end up giving back three times what you take.
Do without expecting a return and your return will be more then you expect.
Be excellent in your everyday work.
“Leave your ego at the door every morning, and just do some truly great work. Few things will make you feel better than a job brilliantly done.”
– Robin S. Sharma
Always go for the excellent in everything you do.
You never go wrong when you do your best to do well.
Doing good will make you feel good.
When you become aware of something, you are involved in the end result. Taking action or not.
“Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.”
– Aldous Huxley
Facts do not cease to exist because you don’t know about them. You just don’t have that much influence on them as the people who are aware.
Take responsibility in the reality you are aware of.
If you can do something, even the smallest things, do it.
If you do something, do it for you. Know that in the end, you are doing it for you.
Status does not guaranty greatness.
Base your value on goodness. Be good for others and good people will gather around you.
“I have friends in overalls whose friendship I would not swap for the favor of the kings of the world.”
– Thomas A. Edison
Be good, be social and be open to others. The good people will come to you.
Don’t be blinded by status. Listen to your guts and be good to all.
We’re all drive by the desire to avoid pain and get more pleasure. It’s at the base of all our behavior.
“All human have the desire for certainty that they can avoid pain and gain pleasure.”
– Tim Robbins
Avoiding pain and gaining pleasure can become something that rules your life. When it’s the case, you could end up feeling out of control. Or you could end up with a maniacal control on your life. As in everything, the middle path is always the better way.
Let’s say you got burned by the oven when you were 6 years old. That experience will be printed in your memory. If you let it grow, you could end up never be able to cook anything using an oven. But, understanding that you have to be careful and use the oven wisely, you can go over that bad memory and cook with it. Doing so will ask that you do some work on yourself and find the guts to overcome your fear of the pain.
Pain is a warning. It has to show you that you need to make some changes.
