Matthew records in his gospel (9:35-38): “And Jesus was going about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of sickness. And seeing the multitudes, He felt compassion on them, because they were distressed and downcast like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.'”

When we do good things we are planting good seeds. When we lead by example we are planting good seeds. When we speak kind words we are planting good seeds. When we read the Word of God, He is planting good seeds of wisdom within us that we may share with others about His Son, Jesus Christ. When we plant good seeds in good soil, the harvest is great, but when we plant on rocky soil the seeds may not grow properly, so, we have to be careful as to what kind of seeds we are planting and where we are planting them. We should not have to go through out our day wondering if we have planted good seeds. Thank you for sharing this quote with us. Have a wonderful blessed Sunday, and stay safe. God bless.
