People fall in love everyday. But in order to stay in love, they must grow in love together with one another. Sometimes it takes a long time to to even grow in love, or even to fall in love. Great quote there. I’ve heard that love is not a feeling, but a verb. It’s something you do. What are your thoughts on that?

Love is a verb because it shows action in how one feels, or doesn’t feel for the other in a relationship. Love between parents and children are different. Every mother loves their children, and fathers to, but they have a special kind of love for each child(ren), but that does not change the fact that they all are loved equally. In a relationship, love is shown in many ways. I do not want to be explicit about it, but you know what I mean. Whenever I see elderly couples together who”ve been married for many years, it makes me wonder what it took for them to stay married and in love. Love is about how one feels for the other, and no matter what happens in the long run, they remain in love, but on the other hand it doesn’t always work out like that. When someone has been hurt by love, it’s hard for them to receive it, as to where a person whose never been hurt by love will be open to receive it, unless they are afraid of love. Love can bring happiness, joy, splendor to a person, but it can also bring heartache, sadness, and heartbreak. This is why when those four little letters are spoken to someone, they should mean it. That’s one word that’s not taken lightly; it goes straight to the heart. Thank you for asking me my thoughts. Have a wonderful day.

You are most welcome. Yes, all of the different kinds of love are relevant. It is about feelings as well as actions. I have been broken myself, but I finally found love in my older age. I hope you have or will soon yourself. But friendship is a very special love that has gotten me through some really rough times.

I know a lot about a lot because I have experienced a lot in my life. I am married and have been for 21 years, but I never forget what I went through when I was younger, and the lessons I learned along the way.
