Make a choice

When it hurts. I have to make a choice.

When I listen to what others have to say about what we should do. I have to make a choice.

In the end, I’m the only one that can choose. No one can do it for me.

Yes, I can follow what others ask me to do, but when I do ‘I did choose’.

My focus is what I choose.

I’m willing to face the pain and focus on my dream.

I’m willing to do what others don’t.

When I’m sick I do my best to overcome that sickness before I keep on working on my dream.

I don’t use excuses. I know what I did and I know that I can do better. I wake up every morning with the goal to do better.

I look ahead with a smile.

The apostle Peter said at the Council in Jerusalem (Acts 15:7-11): “Brethren, you know that in the early days, God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles would hear the word of the gospel and believe. And God, who knows the heart, testified to them (the Gentiles) giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us (the Jews); and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
