About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote
Why do I write?
I believe in the butterfly effect.
As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better.
I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world.
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
– Edmund Burke
I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it.
I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place.
I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life.
I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way.
“The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.”
– William James

The apostle Paul said, in II Corinthians 4:15-18, “For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God. Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our inner man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are unseen are eternal.”

negativity in the mind is a lot of people that lack the ability to be a community or a group. you’d be really negative if you had to move a 3,000 branch from a tree, that fell on a road, from a derecho storm by yourself. you list a picture of a wolf in your post, many animals have packs, they help each other as they have to because human beings have forgotten they have to really help mother nature and alls its animals as well, yet wolves would lack negitivity in todays time if the globe lacked human beings as humans have been ruining earth.
yet think about it. on your street, a emnmense branch had fallen across the road. you know in your minds eye it has to be moved. So, what do you do? Prayerfully you’ve priorly made friends with all your neighbors keeping up with them somehow and at least knowing their first name instead of just sitting behind a pc in your home or office, as there will be less negativity when people come out to help with that 3,000 pound branch to help move it off the road, of which was a incredible case with myself. i thought i was the only person working on issues to help the community and town in the time of economic problems that every town on God’s Earth seems to of had struggles with too.
We got a 40 man crew for road services with our town. My neighbors all know that. We as neighbors, had been helping the best we can by doing some of our own clean up after storms because if we call its takes way to long after a storm as there are so many areas, (square footage) of our town is large and the crews cant get to every last spot fast enough, so we began helping.
getting to know everyone’s first name is a begining to lessen stress and have more confidence that also negativity. if people became more knowing of each other with an insight that they could be there for each other in the time of a crisis, then there isn’t any negitivity as there is a lot of relief asw moving a 3,000 pound branch off the road by myself would had been hard to do. yes i could had cut it down in tiny sizes then move it like the old people had done long ago per country, yet making friends with your neighbors brings back lost times of how people use to be a family as neighbors that rests the mind. so many with differant talents and abilitys per human being, when ya conjoin all that knowlege of each person, well then, you would be able to move that branch much easier.
i like your colum by the way
