Accept by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote

The past is the past. It’s out of our reach.

We can’t change it.

Facing the past, we have two choices: Accept it or Reject it.

It’s our choice!

No one can make that choice for you.

Accepting the past is ‘Usually’ a good way to leave it behind and move on with our life. But, for some people, the move on when they reject it.

Whatever fits you best, do it with the intention of moving on. In the end what is important, is to leave the past behind and move on.

About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote Why do I write? I believe in the butterfly effect. As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better. I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” – Edmund Burke I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it. I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place. I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life. I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way. “The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.” – William James

  1. The apostle Paul wrote in Romans 12:2: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

  2. The most important lessons to be learned are in the past. We are the sum of our past, we can only do something about the present and choose our future.

  3. Ah, this spoke volumes to me. While I’m healed from my past traumas, I’ve been working on writing them out, telling my story, if you will.

    This was beautiful.
