For or Against by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote
Fighting for something or fighting against something.
It’s not the same. Fighting for peace or fighting against war is a very different energy.
You can’t fight fire with fire.
If you want to change the opinion of someone, you should start to be open and listen first. It’s not by attacking that person with your opinion that you’ll get that person to change.
About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote
Why do I write?
I believe in the butterfly effect.
As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better.
I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world.
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
– Edmund Burke
I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it.
I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place.
I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life.
I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way.
“The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.”
– William James

James, the brother of Jesus, wrote in James 4:1-4, “What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? You lust and you do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. You ask and you do not receive, because you ask with the wrong motives, so that you spend it on your pleasures. You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility to God? Therefore whoever wishes to be the friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
