We all have to take moments to be with ourselves. Alone and in peace. Nothing to disturb us or distract us.
We need to take a moment to set ourselves straight. To refocus our goal and dream. A moment to motivate us to build our dreams.
No one can build it for you.
No one can push you hard enough to make you go for your dream. It has to come from you first.
Do something good for someone else and it will make you feel so much better. Give away when you feel bad about your life. Do something for someone else without any hope of getting anything back.
About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote
Why do I write?
I believe in the butterfly effect.
As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better.
I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world.
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
– Edmund Burke
I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it.
I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place.
I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life.
I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way.
“The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.”
– William James

That’s very true. Everyone needs a private world where they can be alone and get lost in thoughts about oneself. That quiet place where you can listen to your heart beat and feel the rhythm of your breath. That place of quietness where you can close your eyes and see your past and future.
This made me think of Philippians 2:3-4 where Paul said: “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look to your own interests, but also for the interests of others.”
