Leaders do what they say.
“As a leader, it is so important that your words equal your actions. It is imperative that you make sure that you go through a self-evaluation process on an almost daily basis to make sure that your actions are in line with your words. You must do what you say and say what you do.”
– Jon Gordon
Leaders are examples of what they say. If their actions differ from what they say, they lose all influence they had.
No one will be fooled by a false leader.
When you waste your reputation as a leader, it’s very hard to get it back.
Even if you don’t have any goal to become a leader, you should do what you say anyway.
“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
– Mahatma Gandhi
You are beautiful when you think, say and do in harmony.
“It’s not the face, but the expressions on it. It’s not the voice, but what you say. It’s not how you look in that body, but the thing you do with it. You are beautiful.”
– Stephenie Meyer
Indeed, leaders have to apply what they have said, as if they did not apply what they said, their character will be lost in front of the staff, as that will affect on them negatively. Words should like a swords, if it came out, it should cut. 😉
