What I say about me

by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote

To feel the power of this text, place yourself in the “I” 🙂

I step into my time and do my best.

I will not let anyone bring me down.

I can do better then yesterday.

New day, new me.

The battleground is in your mind.

What others are saying does not matter. It’s only what you say about you that does.

Dream and take action on it.

About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote Why do I write? I believe in the butterfly effect. As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better. I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” – Edmund Burke I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it. I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place. I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life. I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way. “The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.” – William James

  1. The apostle Paul said in Romans 3:23, 24 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.” The Bible is very clear: We are all sinners who cannot save ourselves, but through faith in Jesus Christ, His death, burial and resurrection, our sins are forgiven and we have eternal life (John 3:16). That, my friends is the “good news” of the gospel!

  2. Words can be uplifting and words can be used to hurt others, but why do some want to use words to bring someone down? We are to encourage one another just as Jesus did when He walked the earth, and as He is doing now through the Word of God. We cannot let what others say about us negatively keep us from fulfilling our dreams, if that is the case, Jesus would not have did what He did for us because of what people were saying about Him. He kept on doing what He was sent here for until it all was fulfilled. We must keep on doing what we need to do to accomplish what we want in our lives and not worry about what people say or think about us. If we do, we will never do anything that we have in our heart to do. We must stay the course and stay focused on our dreams because we are the only one who can.
Thank you for sharing that powerful message. Always uplifting and encouraging. Stay safe.

  3. The mind is the battlefield. I remember some years ago hearing a preacher on TV say that and it has always stuck with me.
It’s all good to have physical strength and emotional strength but it’s so very important that we make sure that our mind is strengthened each and every day.
