Sickness by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote

There’s a sickness that is tearing our world apart. It’s ‘Negativity’. As long as we will justify being negative, we’ll keep on destroying instead of creating.

Yes, it hurts sometimes. Yes, we can be sad or angry. Yes, things don’t always work like you would want it to. Yes, you can face reality and feel bad about it.

From the moment as you acknowledge the bad, it’s up to you to choose the next step. You have the power to keep going on with negativity or choose to search for a way.

The only difference between a winner and a loser is that little light of hope that they use to keep going on. They focus on their dream and keep going on.

Don’t give up!

Your past doesn’t own you.

No matter who you are, you can struggle to do better.

Your story isn’t over until it’s over.

As long as you can bring something good to the world, you can influence it. Even if you only have the energy to smile for a moment, it’s still something that will change the world around you. Even if you are alone when you smile, you still influence the world around you.

Stop complaining and start acting to make this world a better place.

You are a good person!

You can change this world!

About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote Why do I write? I believe in the butterfly effect. As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better. I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” – Edmund Burke I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it. I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place. I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life. I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way. “The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.” – William James

  1. The apostle Paul wrote, in Colossians 4:5, 6: “Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.”

  2. The energy of everything past is still contained in this living momentum.
I am the wave, still crested, moving forward towards an unknown shore.
I am leaving the source behind in the sway, on my own sure route, on my own wings, aware of the rising ground now.
I am flowing onward, towards a new beginning. Where are you now?

  3. See it like this: positive thinking is great for one’s wellbeing in body, spirit and soul. With negativity the body starts breaking down, and disease starts, same for soul and spirit. Why not choose the good instead of the bad?

  5. hi Mage and thanks for looking at my latest blog. Since I was a psychiatrist, I find the subject of “negativity” ambiguous and the assertions to strangers that they are good people as very 1970s. But I do agree having the feeling that whatever happens you will deal with it, which is a positive even in the face of obvious negatives is a good trait. Keep writing. Looks like you have a lot of fans.

  6. I don’t expect to change the world with my writing. But who knows there maybe someone out there in cyberspace who is influenced by my writing who will one day change the world. Its enough for me to play my part, planting seeds in hearts and minds, even though i may never see the results in the years to come.
