Focus on your WHY by Serge ‘Mage’ Cote

Take a moment to focus.

Take a moment to relax and think of your reason why.

It takes a moment to refill your motivation. A moment to focus back on what you want to accomplish. A moment to see clearly your reason why.

When you feel down.

When things are not working as you would want them.

When you just want to quit.

Take a moment to calm down.

Let your reason why rise up from your heart. Let it clean all the negative energy that has flown into your life. Let it set you back to your full energy.

You’ll do your best work when you are focus on your why.

Do you have your WHY?

If you don’t know what you want to achieve, how will you do it?

If you don’t know where you are heading, how will you get there?

If you don’t have your WHY, take a piece of paper and write down something that will motivate you to take action. Something that you believe you can reach, but also something that you know will be hard for you. It’s not about anyone else, it’s all about you. Your WHY is only for you. No one’s needs to know about it.

Why do you do what you do?

Are you ready to do the extra miles?

Your why will bring you the courage to reach for your dream.

About Serge ‘Mage’ Cote Why do I write? I believe in the butterfly effect. As small my influence may be on the planet, it is still influence. I want to orient it for the better. I write my book with the idea of bringing something good into this world. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” – Edmund Burke I want my books to be a good place to be. A place that you visit often and feel good about it. I want my books to bring good energy so the readers will take action to make this world a better place. I want my books to guide those who don’t know why they feel so bad about their life. I want my books to be there after I’ll be gone. I want people to come back to them and use them in a positive way. “The greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.” – William James

  2. In the Bible, a man named Job experienced great loss: all of his oxen, donkeys, sheep, camels, all but four of his servants, all ten of his children and his health in a short period of time. And, as you can imagine, he was deeply grieved. And though he was a man with a deep faith in God, he began to question “why.” For instance, in Job 3:11, he said, “Why did I not die at birth, come forth from the womb and expire?” Then, in Job 7:20, he asked God, “Why have you set me as Your target?” Job then demands an audience with God and an explanation why all these bad things had happened to him. In Job 38, Job gets his audience with God and before he can speak, God says to him, “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Now gird up your loins like a man, and I will ask you, and you instruct Me! Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth (2-4)?” Wow! At first, God seems so cold and cruel in light of all of what Job had been through. And, God never answers Job’s “why” questions. He basically says, “I am your God and you are to trust Me in all things!” And, in Job 42:6, we read where Job says to God, “I repent in dust and ashes.” Someone once told me, instead of asking God the “why” questions, we need to “ask him the “what question” – “What do you want me to do with this?”
